LAS VEGAS, NV – The box truck driver who fatally struck a group of bicyclists south of Boulder City in December has pleaded guilty to two counts of DUI resulting in death.
KTNV reports that Jordan Barson tested positive for methamphetamine after crashing into a group of bicyclists on US 95 on December 10, 2020. Five of the cyclists were killed.
Sentencing has been scheduled for June 9. Barson faces up to 40 years in prison.
