News: Motorcyclist killed in collision at Nellis and Flamingo

LAS VEGAS, NV – The Las Vegas Police Department reports that a motorcyclist has died of injuries he sustained in a collision with a pickup truck on Thursday, April 15.

The motorcyclist was traveling north on S. Nellis Boulevard just before 9 a.m. when a Chevrolet Colorado pulled into his path from a private drive located just north of Flamingo Road. The 56-year-old motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Sunrise Trauma, where he died from his injuries on April 20.

His identity has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.

The 25-year-old female driver of the Chevrolet remained on the scene and cooperated with the police investigation. They do not believe she was impaired at the time of the collision.
