LAS VEGAS, NV – A pedestrian was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle near the UNLV campus early this morning, FOX5 reports.
Police say the pedestrian was hit while walking outside of a designated crosswalk in the vicinity of Flamingo Road and Escondido Street at about 2 a.m. today.
This led to the closure of Flamingo in the area of Maryland Parkway this morning, as police investigated the scene
