LAS VEGAS, NV – An unidentified 67-year-old male died following an accident at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort RV Park, according to a press release by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The accident happened around 6:50 a.m. Monday morning.
Witnesses at the scene stated that the driver of a 2004 Tiffin Allegro motorcoach with a trailer attached was backing out of his RV spot when he jackknifed the trailer. The driver fell out of the driver’s door while trying to straighten out the trailer and landed on his head.
The unidentified 67-year-old male driver did not move after landing on his head and was subsequently run over by the motor coach’s rear tires as it slowly moved forward. Medical crews responded to the scene and determined the man was beyond resuscitation. The case is currently under investigation by the LVMPD Collision Investigation Section.
