News: Trailer fire kills one in Fallon

FALLON, NV – One person was killed when a trailer caught on fire in Fallon Wednesday morning, reports The Fallon Post.

The fire happened at 4333 Reno Highway. A man and a woman lived in the trailer, according to neighbors, and the woman escaped the fire. The male occupant was the one that died.

Emergency crews responded to the area after receiving reports of a fire around 12:55 a.m.  A total of 31 firefighters and 12 apparatus arrived on the scene. They remained on the scene for about two hours. No other adjacent structures sustained any damage.

Nevada State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the fire.
