SUN VALLEY, NV – A woman struck a boy on a bicycle Sunday after waving him to the other side of the street, reports News 4.
At around 7 p.m. the unidentified woman driver stopped and waved to signal a 10-year-old boy to cross the street. When the boy got in front of the vehicle, the woman hit the gas and struck the boy and then fled the scene in an apparent hit-and-run.
The boy suffered only minor injuries, most likely due to the fact he was wearing a helmet. Police are still looking for the woman driver and investigating the collision.
