News: Vehicle strikes, injures pedestrian in North Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV – An elderly woman was seriously injured Tuesday evening following a hit-and-run in North Las Vegas, reports Fox 5.

The incident happened at the intersection of Washington Ave and Pecos Rd around 8:30 p.m. A vehicle, which police think may have been a black pickup truck, was driving east on Washington before hitting the woman, who is between 60-70 years of age. They then left the scene of the accident.

Officials say the woman was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police are still looking for the driver who struck the woman..
