LAS VEGAS, NV – A woman was seriously injured following a collision in the Sunrise Manor community of Las Vegas, reports the Review-Journal.
The accident occurred around 8:10 p.m. on May 22. Ascencion Rodriguez Soria, 42, was speeding in a Dodge pickup truck on Washington Ave near Christy Ln and tried to pass the car in front of him. In the process, Soria struck a Nissan Murano. The driver of the Murano, an unidentified woman, was seriously injured.
Soria admitted drinking at a nearby restaurant prior to the collision. He was arrested on multiple charges including suspicion of DUI and giving a false statement to an officer.
