News Update: Woman injured from Tuesday crash dies

LAS VEGAS, NV – An elderly woman who was hospitalized at Sunrise Manor following a Tuesday night hit-and-run has died, reports Fox 5.

The woman was somewhere between 60-70 years old. She was struck while crossing the street at the intersection of Washington Ave and Lena St around 8:30 p.m. when she was struck by, what police believe, a black Dodge pickup truck.

Following the collision, the woman was hospitalized at Sunrise Trauma. She later died there from her injuries. Her name will be released once her next of kin are notified.
