LAS VEGAS, NV – An elderly man died and another pedestrian suffered minor injuries after they were struck by a Ford truck Thursday night, reports Review-Journal.
At around 11:28 p.m. at the intersection of 4 St and Bridger Ave a 67-year-old fell out of his wheel chair and a car stopped at the intersection to help. The person got out and was in the intersection when another car tried to go around them, striking both of them. The man in the wheelchair died and the man helping him sustained minor injuries.
Following the accident, the driver of the Ford remained at the scene. Investigators do not think impairment played a role in the collision.
