News: South Reno crash injures 2
RENO, NV – A crash in southern Reno hospitalized two people on Saturday, reports KTNV.
The crash happened on westbound Moana Ln when an Infinity G35 strayed from the lane and collided with multiple concrete barriers.
According to police, the Infinity was occupied by three people at the time of the collision. Of the three, the driver and one passenger were injured. The injured passenger is a minor. The other passenger was unharmed.
The driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and the minor was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police were dispatched to the area after receiving calls concerning the crash around 1:20 a.m. They believe that both alcohol and speed played a role in the accident.
The Major Accident Investigation Team of the Reno Police Department is investigating the incident.
