News: Passenger dead after driver does doughnuts at intersection, crashes car
SPRING VALLEY, NV – A driver doing doughnuts at an intersection in southwest Spring Valley led to their hospitalization and the death of their passenger last night, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The crash occurred near the intersection of W Badura Avenue and S Durango Drive at 6:16 p.m., as a driver performing a spinout lost control of their vehicle. The car then overturned.
Their passenger, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.
The driver was brought to the hospital to receive treatment for undisclosed wounds.
It is unclear if the driver was under the influence, though the investigation continues at this time.
