News: 1 dead, 1 injured in possible DUI crash on I-15 in N Las Vegas
NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV – One person was killed and another was severely injured in a possible DUI crash on I-15 in North Las Vegas early yesterday morning, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The accident happened on southbound I-15 and Lake Mead Boulevard at around 2:05 a.m., when a driver swerved off the side of the road and crashed into a ravine, where it overturned.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
An occupant of the same vehicle was taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe, critical injuries.
Intoxicated driving may have played a role in the collision.
