News update: Governor found at-fault for 2-vehicle crash

LAS VEGAS, NV – Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak was found at fault in a two-car collision on October 16, according to Reno Gazette-Journal.

Sisolak, 67, was driving a Lexus SUV when he turned left on a yellow light and collided with a Nissan Sentra operated by a 30-year-old woman. The impact sent Sisolak’s Lexus spinning into landscaping and the woman’s Sentra into a traffic signal pole, which is knocked down.

First responders treated Sisolak and the woman for minor injuries. Officers administered a sobriety test on the woman but not the governor. They found no signs of impairment in the woman.

Officers ticketed bot Sisolak and the woman.

It is unclear exactly where and when the incident happened.
