News: Rescue crews respond to fatal motorcycle crash at Rancho Dr and Craig Rd
LAS VEGAS, NV – A pickup truck driver fatally struck a motorcyclist who ran the red light in northwest Las Vegas on Sunday, according to KTNV.
The driver of a Ford Ranger was heading south on Rancho Dr when the rider of a Suzuki GSX-R 600 ran a red light at Craig Road. The motorcyclist collided with the front left side of the pickup truck.
First responders were called to the scene around 5:25 a.m. They transported the rider to an area hospital, where they later died.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police following the collision. Authorities do not believe speed or impairment were factors in the incident.
Officials have not yet released the name of the rider.
