News: Pedestrian dead after being hit by driver on Flamingo Rd
LAS VEGAS, NV – One person was killed after being struck by a driver while they were crossing the street yesterday evening, according to information from the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The accident happened on Flamingo Road near Palos Verdes Street at around 5:35 p.m., as a pedestrian was reportedly crossing the road outside of the marked crosswalk. They were then hit by the driver of a 2017 Toyota Camry headed eastbound.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries and were declared dead.
The driver remained at the site of the crash and is not suspected of being under the influence.
