News Update: Police ID victim of fatal crash at Las Vegas Blvd and Gass Ave
LAS VEGAS, NV – According to 8 News Now, officials have released the name of the victim killed in a fatal DUI crash at Las Vegas Blvd and Gass Ave Friday.
At around 2 a.m., Daysia Brown, 24, was driving a Jeep Wrangler east on Gass Ave when she ran a red light at Las Vegas Blvd and Gass Ave and collided with a Toyota Camry driven by Julio Maymi-Diaz, 50.
First responders took Maymi-Diaz to an area hospital, where he later died.
Brown is in custody at the Clark County Detention Center. Her bond is set at $50,000.
