Background and Beginnings

Working in this field, Maria can utilize her interpreting and organizational skills. In addition, she is gaining experience in personal injury law, which she finds very rewarding and challenging.

Maria was born in Mexico but came to the U.S. at seven and was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She went to the Adam S. Kutner Law Firm with 15 years of experience as a Spanish Interpreter from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. It is very rewarding to her to be able to help those individuals who struggle with the English language barrier. Maria also worked in the Hospitality Field at the Westgate Hotel and Casino, formerly The Las Vegas Hilton, in the Food and Beverage Department. She assisted convention clients in coordinating their suite events, where she gained organizational skills, leading to her next position.
