News: Driver injured after colliding with bus stop in Silverado Ranch

LAS VEGAS, NV – A motorist sustained minor injuries when their sedan crashed into a bus stop at an intersection in the Silverado Ranch area this morning, KVVU reports.

The collision took place at the intersection of Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard at about 9:45 a.m. on April 21, and knocked over both a light pole as well as the bus stop’s roof. Fortunately, no one was waiting at the stop at the time.

The driver suffered minor, unspecified injuries, and was not hospitalized.

The area was shut down for some time after the crash so that authorities could investigate.
