LAS VEGAS, NV – Two people were killed in a head-on collision in northeast Las Vegas this morning, and authorities suspect intoxication may have been a factor.
FOX5 reports that the collision happened at the intersection of Lamb Boulevard and Cecile Avenue shortly before 6 a.m. on Friday, April 23. A grey Nissan SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a white Nissan of unspecified model, killing both occupants of the white Nissan and seriously injury the driver of the SUV.
Police believe the causing driver may have been intoxicated at the time. Charges may be filed against him, pending the results of an ongoing collision.
Lamb Blvd. was closed in both directions for several hours.
