LAS VEGAS, NV – A vacant house fire at 5983 Shenandoah Ave hospitalized a man Wednesday morning, reports Fox 5.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene around 4:45 a.m. Reports initially indicated there were four possible victims inside the building. Inside, firefighters found a puppy and no other victims. The puppy was sheltered by Animal Control after the fire.
An unidentified man, 25, was hospitalized for smoke-inhalation injuries. It is unclear where the man was in relation to the house fire at this time.
Clark County Fire Department and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are working together to find out what caused the fire.
