News: Military plane crashes on edge of base, kills pilot

LAS VEGAS, NV – A pilot is dead after his plane crashed near the southern edge of Nellis Air Force Base Monday afternoon said a statement released by the base.

Draken, a company contracted to the Air Force to provide adversary air support, owned and piloted the aircraft. In a statement they said they are cooperating with investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board to find out what caused the accident.

The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m.
