News: 1 teen, 1 adult dies following crash with semi-truck on I-15
JEAN, OK – Two people are dead after a sedan crashed into a semi-truck near mile marker 12 on I-15 Monday, Fox 5 Vegas reports.
Angelica Rubio, 30, was driving a Honda Accord on northbound I-15 when she collided with the rear of a semi-truck.
Emergency crews arrived at the crash site around 7 a.m. and pronounced Rubio dead at the scene. Her 15-year-old female passenger was taken to UMC in critical condition. She died there from her injuries.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office declared that both victims died of blunt force trauma. Their deaths have been ruled as an accident.
