News: Hit-and-run driver strikes, injures motorcyclist on Desert Inn Rd

LAS VEGAS, NV – KLAS reports that a hit-and-run driver collided with a motorcyclist and broke his collar bone east of Nellis Blvd on Desert Inn Rd Saturday.

The suspect ran through the stoplight at Nellis Blvd and Desert Inn Rd intersection and hit Tate, knocking him off his motorcycle. Tate was on his way home from Walgreens when the accident happened.

Tate briefly lost consciousness after being hit. He woke up with bruises and a broken collar bone at the scene of the incident. An officer told him the driver was most likely impaired.

The case is under investigation by the LVMPD.
