LAS VEGAS, NV – A motorist was killed and a trucker was injured when their vehicles collided near an intersection east of Las Vegas last week.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department issued a press release regarding the collision, which took place at 8:35 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14. A 2016 Honda Civic was headed west on Pabco Road when its driver lost control of the vehicle just east of Lake Mead Boulevard. The Honda entered the eastbound lanes and collided with a Peterbilt semi truck.
Emergency responders pronounced the Honda’s driver dead at the scene. The man had not been identified at the time the press release was issued.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries, and was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
