News Update: Name of pedestrian killed in hit-and-run released

LAS VEGAS, NV – The man killed in a hit-and-run on Monday has been identified as James Fleisher, reports KVVU.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. Monday morning at Flamingo Rd and Burnham Ave. Fleisher was walking in the crosswalk when he was struck by a car heading west.

Another vehicle approached the Fleisher, who was lying unconscious in the road, and then contacted the police. Fleisher was taken to Sunrise Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The vehicle that struck him was a white Mercedes that now has damage to its front end and windshield. Police are asking that anyone with information regarding the case contact them.
