LAS VEGAS, NV – A woman was killed was crossing the road at Nellis Blvd and East Lake Mead Blvd Wednesday evening, reports Fox 5.
Law enforcement responded to the area around 7 p.m. after hearing reports of the incident. According to witnesses at the scene, the woman was struck by a GMC pick-up truck towing a trailer while she was crossing in a marked crosswalk. The pedestrian was killed at the scene.
The woman’s identity will be released to the public once her next of kin have been notified of her death. This marks the 11th hit-and-run this year.
