News: Emergency crews rescue occupants of car stuck in ravine

LAS VEGAS, NV – Two people were rescued by emergency crews Sunday from a vehicle stuck at the bottom of ravine, reports Fox 5.

A Toyota Avalon was on State Rt 150 traveling to Lee Canyon Rd on Sunday around 6:15 p.m. when it lost control at a curve, overturning the vehicle and getting it stuck in the ravine.

The occupants included a male driver and three passengers. Two of the passengers were able to exit the vehicle after the crash but the driver and front right passenger remained in the vehicle until they were extracted by emergency crews.

Las Vegas Highway Patrol arrested the driver on suspicion of impairment. All occupants of the vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
