Car strikes, kills child in North Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV – A car struck and killed a two-year-old boy Monday night in North Las Vegas, reports Fox 5.

Around 7:30 p.m., car was exiting Douglas A. Selby park near Owens Ave and Sandhill Rd when the child ran into the path of the vehicle. Following the accident, the child was taking to UMC where he died from his injuries.

The child has been identified by the coroner’s office. His name is Miguel Morales.
